about

Wedding Mark grew out of my background in Fine Art and a long-standing fascination with paper, materials, and print techniques. The studio was founded while I was planning my own wedding, when I realised how difficult it was to find designs that truly respected materials and felt thoughtfully considered from start to finish.

For almost eight years, the studio was based in Berlin — a city that shaped how I see design. Its culture, art and everyday visual language influenced the way I work. Recently, we moved to the German border region near Basel, a place we value for its balance and closeness to art, design and skilled craftsmanship.

My practice is grounded in structure, clarity and the tactile nature of analogue processes. I pay attention to paper, proportion and traditional methods. During my studies, I formed connections with artists and craftspeople whose work still plays a role in the studio. Collaborating with them — in ceramics, wood or calligraphy — continues to shape many of our projects.

This way of working also guides my approach to digital design. I build wedding websites with the same focus on layout, rhythm and usability that I use for analogue pieces. For me, both areas rely on the same essentials: clear thinking, careful work and an appreciation for craft.
