Day One — Civil Ceremony and Dinner
Carsten and Philip hosted one of the most elegant three-day celebrations. Each moment carried a quiet sense of intention and elegance.
The first day began with their civil ceremony, followed by champagne at home. The atmosphere was relaxed, intimate and understated, ending with a dinner at Chez Fritz.
Day Two — Wedding Cocktail at Villa Diesel
The second day brought the wedding cocktail at Villa Diesel. The industrial elegance of the space — its high ceilings, raw materials and clean geometry — set a different tone from the intimacy of the first evening, while remaining within the same restrained visual direction.The second day continued with a wedding cocktail at Villa Diesel.
Day Three — Vow Celebration at Bayerisches Nationalmuseum
The final day was the most formal, with a vow celebration at the Bayerisches Nationalmuseum, followed by champagne and dinner surrounded by art.
The Stationery
For Carsten and Philip, we designed two pieces: their Save the Date and their wedding invitation suite.
The Save the Date was printed on soft cotton stock with blind embossing and paired with hand-folded envelopes. The invitations featured embossed names, foil-printed letterpress text, an information card and matching hand-folded envelopes.
A note on the wedding day
The on-the-day stationery was handwritten by one of the grooms. It was the right decision for this celebration — personal, immediate and completely in keeping with the tone of the three days.
I loved the atmosphere of these three days, the calm elegance and the clarity that shaped every detail. It was a pleasure to be part of it and to work with both of them.
