The gap between the work and the website

Most wedding professionals who reach out to us have the same problem: their work is at a higher level than their website suggests. They have strong portfolios, good client relationships and a clear sense of their positioning — but their digital presence does not yet reflect any of that clearly.

This gap matters more than it used to. When a potential client searches for a photographer or a planner for a destination wedding, they form an impression within seconds. A website that looks inconsistent, feels generic or is difficult to navigate will lose that client before they have read a single word.

The goal of every project at Wedding Mark is to close that gap — to build a website that matches the quality of the work and positions the professional clearly within the market they are working in.

What the project includes

Every project is scoped individually, but a full brand and website design typically covers:

Visual identity

Logo or refinement of an existing mark. We develop a complete visual language — typography, colour palette, spacing and graphic elements — that works across print, digital and social. The system is designed to be consistent and recognisable without being rigid.

Website strategy

Before design begins, we define the architecture: which pages you need, how they connect, what each one needs to communicate and how the content should be structured for both clients and search engines. This includes URL structure, content clusters and the hierarchy of information on each page.

Website design

A custom Webflow or Framer website — designed and developed from scratch, not built from a template. Editorial in tone, fast in performance, built mobile-first. Every design decision follows from the strategy: the layout, the typography and the interaction patterns all serve the positioning.

AI-search structure

Your website needs to be readable by AI-powered search tools — Google AI Overview, ChatGPT Search, Perplexity — not just by human visitors. This means correct heading hierarchy, structured data (schema markup and JSON-LD), accurate meta descriptions, descriptive alt-texts and a content structure that tells search engines exactly what you do, where you work and who you serve.

Copy framework

We do not write your copy — your voice and your experience are yours to bring. What we provide is a page-by-page framework: the H1 for each page, the structure of each section, the questions each paragraph needs to answer. Most professionals find that working from this framework makes writing their own content significantly faster and more focused.

Portfolio structure

How your case studies are presented matters as much as the work itself. We define the format for each project: what information to include, how to describe the work without overselling it, how to name the pages and how to write about venues, clients and collaborators in a way that builds credibility with both clients and search engines.

Authority signals

A strong website is only part of the picture. We also review the signals that confirm your authority outside the website: whether your publications link back to your domain, whether your vendor network is visible and whether your Google Business Profile is complete and consistent with your positioning. Where there are gaps, we identify them and recommend how to close them.

Not every project requires all of these elements. Some professionals need a full rebrand. Others have a strong visual identity and need only the website and the strategy. The scope is always defined in conversation — based on where you are and where you want to go.

Who this is for

This service is for luxury and ultra-luxury wedding professionals — photographers, planners, florists and venues — who want a website and brand presence that reflects the level of their work and positions them clearly within the market.

It works best for professionals who already have a clear body of work and a sense of where they want to position themselves, but whose current digital presence does not yet communicate that clearly.

If you are looking for a more immediate starting point, the Framer template collection offers an editorial foundation that can be personalised and launched quickly.
