FAQ

What is a bespoke wedding visual identity?

A bespoke wedding visual identity is a complete visual direction created specifically for one couple and one celebration. It brings together all printed and digital elements — stationery, signage, menus, digital announcements and the wedding website — into one coherent visual language. Unlike individual products ordered separately, a visual identity ensures that every detail, from the save the date to the place card on the table, feels like it belongs to the same world.

What does Wedding Mark offer for wedding professionals?

Wedding Mark designs brand and website systems for luxury wedding professionals — photographers, planners, florists and venues. This includes visual identity, website design, AI-search-ready content structure and brand positioning strategy. We also offer website and brand positioning audits for professionals who want to understand where their current presence stands and what needs to change.

How does Wedding Mark work with wedding planners?

We work closely with wedding and event planners on bespoke visual identity projects for their clients. Planners are involved from the beginning — the visual direction is developed in dialogue with the event concept and the overall vision for the celebration. We follow clear timelines, provide proofing rounds for approval, and handle the production coordination for all printed and digital elements. If you are a planner with an upcoming project, we would be happy to discuss it.

What is the difference between bespoke and semi-custom?

Bespoke means the entire visual identity is designed from scratch for one couple or one brand. There are no pre-existing templates or directions — everything is developed through a process of discovery, concept development and refinement. Semi-custom starts from a curated design direction and is personalised with the couple's details, colours and content. It is a more streamlined process with a shorter timeline and a different investment level. Both result in a refined, intentional outcome — the difference is in the depth of the process.

Does Wedding Mark work on destination weddings outside Europe?

We work on destination weddings across Europe — primarily in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, France and Spain. We also work with couples based in the United States who are planning celebrations in Europe. Design coordination is managed from our studio. For production, we work with a combination of in-house techniques and trusted partners — depending on the requirements of the project.

How far in advance should we get in touch?

For bespoke visual identity projects, we recommend reaching out at least 9 to 12 months before the wedding date. This allows enough time for the full design and production process, including proofing, revisions and print lead times. For website projects, 4 to 6 months is typically sufficient. We take on a limited number of projects each year, so earlier is always better.

What is included in a bespoke visual identity project?

A bespoke visual identity typically includes save the dates, invitations, menus, escort cards, place cards, table numbers, bar and welcome signage, and a digital announcement card. Additional elements — including the wedding website, custom illustrations, weekend cards and specialty packaging — are discussed and scoped individually. Every project is different, and the scope is defined based on the specific needs of the celebration.

What does the process look like?

Every project begins with a conversation — either a call or a written exchange — to understand the couple, the event and the visual direction. From there, we develop a concept, present it for feedback and refine it through proofing rounds. Production is coordinated once the design is approved. For couples working with a planner, the planner is part of the process from the beginning.

What is an AI-ready website — and why does it matter for wedding professionals?

An AI-ready website is structured so that search engines powered by artificial intelligence — including Google AI Overview, ChatGPT Search and Perplexity — can understand what the site is about, who it serves and what authority it holds. For wedding professionals, this means that when a couple or a planner searches for a photographer, florist or planner in a specific location or style, the website is more likely to appear as a recommended source. It is not a replacement for other strategies — referrals, publications and relationships remain essential at the luxury level — but it is an increasingly important part of a complete digital presence.

How can we get in touch?
